Core features of HEROS

HEROS is a powerful and sophisticated online heritage data management system providing secure, controllable access for users. HEROS comes as a package of core and optional features; the user decides which, if any,  optional features to switch off once they have the system installed.

The core features of HEROS are: –

• Digital Asset Manager
• Document Manager
• Report Manager
• Extended Thesauri Module
• User Group Manager
• Image/Media Manager
• Project Manager
• Data Uploader

These allow the user to record information about heritage assets alongside linked images and other media. Recording terms can be controlled using linked thesauri. Subsets of data can be grouped using the Project Manager and data can be exported/imported in a wide variety of formats.

As a package, HEROS comes with optional features as well. Once the software is installed new users choose which of these they wish to keep as part of their data management system.
